New York at Christmas – Join Trabeona Travels Group Tour
We're excited to announce that Jeanine, Travel Advisor at Trabeona Travels, will be leading a 4-day New York Holiday Experience this December, and spaces have just been released!
There’s nothing quite like New York City during the holiday season. Twinkling lights line the streets, festive window displays transform Fifth Avenue into a winter wonderland, Christmas markets fill the air with the scent of hot chocolate and roasted nuts, and iconic landmarks sparkle with holiday cheer.
If experiencing New York at Christmas has always been on your bucket list, this is the perfect opportunity.
This thoughtfully planned group trip blends iconic sightseeing, festive holiday traditions, delicious local experiences, and free time to explore the city at your own pace.
Trip highlights:
1. A Grand Beginning! Meet our locally licensed guide upon arrival at Grand Central Terminal. Enjoy lunch on your own, then a tour of Grand Central Station, and some time to enjoy their Christmas Market.
Head to your hotel at The Sheraton Times Square. In the evening, take some time to freshen up and enjoy dinner on your own before a quick five‑minute walk to the incredible Rockettes Christmas Spectacular at Radio City.
Settle into orchestra seats for the 8:00 PM show, where Santa, ten dazzling new numbers, and the festive sights and sounds of the season come to life. Afterward, stroll back to the hotel at your own pace, perhaps stopping for drinks or snapping photos of the stunning Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center.
2. Take it easy and enjoy the whole day at your own pace! Spend the morning and afternoon exploring the Christmas Markets, visiting museums, checking out iconic attractions, or even catching a Broadway matinee.
Be in the hotel lobby by 5:30 pm for an exciting evening that starts with a ride over the bridge to a delicious family-style Italian dinner at Ponte Vecchio, a Brooklyn favorite for over 35 years.
Afterward, you‘ll hop back on the bus for the famous Dyker Heights Holiday Lights tour! This tradition began in the 1980s when Lucy Spata, a Dyker Heights resident, decorated her home in memory of her mother. Her over-the-top displays inspired neighbors, kicking off a friendly “lighting competition” that now draws more than 100,000 visitors each year!
3. Visit National 9/11 Museum. Visiting this landmark is a moving and powerful experience, offering deeper insight into the events and their impact, and leaving a lasting sense of reflection, remembrance, and resilience. A 90-minute audio-guided tour will take you through this magnificent testament to the day we will always remember.
In the afternoon, head to the iconic Greenwich Village for a unique lunch adventure on the Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Walking Tour. This three-hour guided stroll through the charming West Village combines generous tastings from well-known local spots with fascinating stories about the area’s history, architecture, and cultural heritage. Enjoy classic New York favorites while wandering picturesque streets, discovering hidden gems, and seeing historic landmarks and celebrity haunts that make Greenwich Village so beloved.
The rest of the day and evening are open for you to enjoy however you like – catch another Broadway show, squeeze in some last-minute shopping, or watch the skaters at Rockefeller Center!
